Fly Fishing for Rainbow Trout at Jubilee Lakes in County Durham
Re Fishing
We have done our best to sort out the problems with our trout but we've been unable to keep them alive for long since the road which borders our lakes was resurfaced in 2022. In spite of the fact we are retiring from the tackle shop we did hope to continue with the fishing. Many of our anglers are also our good friends and we've know many for over 30 years and so we hope this is not the end. We're still working to get the fishing started once again.
Re Tackle Shop. We are retiring!!!
After more than thirty years we're finally retiring. We had hoped someone would buy our shop just to keep a fly fishing tackle shop in the area but no interest. Instead we are selling off the stock. There's an absolute minimum of 25%, (and often much more), off all flytying and also off all salmon tackle. Our website at www.anglers-lodge.co.uk is bang up to date so you can see exactly what we have in stock and see the up to date sale prices. We are keeping the trout tackle on as usual until the end of the season. The tackle shop will be open the usual hours until the end of October:-
Thursdays & Fridays 10am until 4pm.
Saturdays 10am until 2pm.
